Lollipops with Joanna Figeuroa

I love Dresden Plate Blocks of any kind.  Really, really love them and have reworked them in many different ways over the years. I love this method of making the blades and how much the block changes depending on the width and style of the blades.
  • Each student will need to purchase the pattern for “Lollipops”, available here.

Lollipops – Two versions of the same quilt!

There are two different styles of quilts that you can make with this pattern (see pictures on website.)
The large LOLLIPOP versions shown with the gray and cream backgrounds which we call CARNIVAL is an 81″ x 8″ size quilt with nine large 20″ blocks.
The smaller LOLLIPOP version shown with red floral border and also offered in the Halloween version, which we call LITTLE LOLLIES is a 61′ xx 77″ quilt with twelve smaller 14″ blocks.
Both quilts are simple to put together and are made using exactly the same method and are assembled in the same exact way.  You won’t believe how fun these are to make!! We will have several kits available for both quilts for our students.
